A: All individuals who hold a valid Permanent Residence Card or Temporary Workers with a valid work permit:
The arrival date on the back of the Permanent Resident Card must state calendar years 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 to be eligible for this incentive.

The Temporary Work Permit must be valid at time of purchase.

Q: Which GM vehicles are eligible for the Welcome To Canada Bonus?
A: All 2021, 2022 and 2023 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. (excluding 2020 Blazer 1L0, Camaro Coupe A1Z, 2020 Colorado 2SA and 2020 Canyon 2SA.)

Q: When does the program begin and end?
A: Offer valid from January 2nd, 2023 – February 1st, 2024.

Q: Are there any other requirements?
A:
Individuals must have a valid Canadian driver’s licence to be eligible.
Vehicles must be registered in the name of the eligible individual and can be co-titled with their spouse, or financing/leasing co-signer (financial documentation must be provided to prove co-signing eligibility).
A person is considered and eligible under the provisions of this program only once in his or her lifetime.

This is a $1,000 manufacturer-to-consumer bonus (tax inclusive) available to eligible new immigrants living in Canada with valid Permanent Resident cards or Temporary Foreign Workers with valid temporary work permits. The Welcome to Canada Bonus is intended to provide a promotable message to attract additional prospects to your dealerships and can be used to reduce the purchase price or down payment requirements often made of immigrants who are working to establish credit in Canada.
